Five ways Invader books reach your shelves.
Invader Comics books reach readers five ways: comic shops through Lunar Distribution (US) and Universal Distribution (Canada), bookstores and libraries through IPG, Kickstarter campaigns with exclusive editions and retailer tiers, digital editions, and direct from the Invader store.
Comic shops
Lunar handles Invader’s US direct market and
Universal handles Canada. Shops order through their usual account;
our releases page links each book’s listing and final order cutoff (FOC) date.
Bookstores + libraries
IPG (Independent Publishers Group) distributes Invader to the book trade, so any bookstore or library can order through its normal channels.
Kickstarter
Most Invader books launch on
Kickstarter first. Campaigns typically include a retailer tier, and Kickstarter editions are often exclusive and unavailable through distributors.
Direct + digital
Every title is available digitally, and
the Invader store ships within one week, in the US and internationally.
Reprints follow demand
Invader reprints when reorders show demand. The Digger #1–4 sold out and returned in second printings in August 2026. If a book you want is sold out, ask your shop to reorder it.
Why it matters for creators
Every Invader book is creator-owned. This mix of channels gets independent creators into comic shops, bookstores and libraries without giving up their rights. Want to pitch?
