It's been a wild year. With Diamond Distribution declaring bankruptcy in January, we were left in a precarious position regarding getting our books into bookstores. While they claimed there would be no disruption in their services, they left us with thousands of dollars in unpaid invoices, books that weren't getting sent to shops, and frankly no real hope for the future.
But we quickly pivoted and got set up to have our books distributed by Lunar instead! And we're very proud to announce that our very first Lunar listing is live RIGHT NOW! It's Jimmie Robinson's "Artillery" and you are going to LOVE IT!

What's the story, you ask?
All human art and creativity comes from an ancient power source, amplified by magical gateways all over the world, but now a sentient A.I. is closing the gateways in order to control all of the world's creative arts.
As humanity loses the ability to create art, the last gateway brings the Mona Lisa to life so she can form a team of artists to steal the gateways of creativity back from the A.I.
Three artists are given magical abilities that transform their art into weapons. A graffiti artist, a film FX artist, and a comic book artist. Together they plan an elaborate heist to save the last gateway of creativity.
It's in the Lunar catalog right now, and the final order cutoff is August 4th. Tell your local comic shop (and any comic fans you know!) to order this fantastic book. This is part 1 of a 3-part book, and it's 44 pages of art-heist, sci-fi adventure!
We've also got a NEW Kickstarter launching tomorrow! It's the collected edition of Animals, our biggest book of 2024. The collected trade is titled "Animals: Outbreak" and just like all our Kickstarter campaigns, we've put together a special cover with thicker cardstock to make it extra special. This time, we turned to one of the coolest publishers in comic history, EC Comics, for inspiration.
With art by Dark Horse artist Will Perkins (Gregory Suicide, Goblin) and design by our art director Michael Nelsen (Supernaut), it's a loving tribute to one of our favorite publishers ever! We've also put together some really cool extras for this campaign. Since the book takes place in Olympic National Park, we figured we should make our own patches and brochures, just like you'd get at a REAL national park!
It's a REAL tri-fold brochure, and both it and the patch were also lovingly designed by Michael Nelsen (with words by our fearless editor in chief - MIKE PERKINS!)
